On Tuesday night, BTopi Keskinen will step onto the iconic Wembley Stadium pitch, following in the footsteps of his childhood hero, Wayne Rooney.
This moment marks a significant milestone for the 21-year-old Finnish player, who recently joined Aberdeen from HJK Helsinki.
First International Experience
Keskinen made his senior international debut for Finland just this past Saturday, though it was a tough outing with a 3-0 defeat to Greece.
Now, he’s gearing up for his inaugural match at Wembley, where Finland will face England, the top team in Group B2 of the UEFA Nations League.

Ahead of the match, Keskinen’s tattoo has been a topic of fascination.
The ink on his left arm features an unusual design: a depiction of ex-England captain Wayne Rooney holding a fishing rod.
Keskinen has shared that this tattoo, which he designed himself, has garnered more attention than he expected since his move to Scotland.
Meaning Behind the Ink
In discussing his tattoo, Keskinen admitted, “To be honest, it’s not the most impressive tattoo because I designed it myself.”
He explained his reasons for choosing Rooney: “I’ve always admired the style of British football.
I wanted my tattoos to have personal significance.
As a kid, I was a United fan and loved Rooney.
Plus, I have a passion for fishing.”
Rooney’s Legacy
Wayne Rooney, a Manchester United and England legend, scored 253 goals in 559 appearances for United between 2004 and 2017.
He also netted 53 goals in 120 England caps, a record until Harry Kane surpassed it in March.
Kane, now with 66 goals and approaching his 100th cap, will also be in action on Tuesday.
Keskinen’s Journey with Aberdeen
Since joining Aberdeen on August 12, Keskinen has played in three matches.
He made an impressive debut with a goal in a 1-0 win over Queen’s Park in the Scottish League Cup and has since contributed to Premiership victories against Kilmarnock and Ross County.
