JFK Assassination Revisited: Doctors’ Unseen Interviews Raise Questions About Lone Gunman Theory

Introduction

Unreleased interviews with doctors who attempted to save President John F. Kennedy’s life after his 1963 assassination reveal their belief in the possibility of ‘more than one shooter.’

This groundbreaking footage, kept under wraps for a decade, is set to feature in the upcoming documentary JFK Assassination: What Happened in the Trauma Room? airing on Channel 5.

Lone Gunman Theory and Dissenting Voices

Official investigations, notably the Warren Commission, concluded that Kennedy was assassinated by a lone gunman, Lee Harvey Oswald.

However, the upcoming documentary showcases interviews with seven doctors from Parkland Memorial Hospital who treated Kennedy and challenged this narrative.

Doctors’ Testimonies and Inconsistencies

The medics, including Dr. Robert McClelland and Dr. Ronald Jones, expressed skepticism about the lone gunman theory. Dr. McClelland, who passed away in 2019, asserted, ‘In all probability, there was a conspiracy. There was more than one shooter.’

They raised questions based on Kennedy’s injuries, specifically the entry point of the fatal bullet.

Filmmaker’s Investigation and Delayed Release

Filmmaker Jacque Leuth gathered the doctors in 2013 after indications of a possible bullet hole in the front of Kennedy’s neck.

The interviews were kept from the public until now, as Leuth aimed to include perspectives from key figures like Jim Jenkins, the sole surviving member of the autopsy team, and others, who were not available for interviews until 2021.

Autopsy Photos and Allegations of Tampering

The doctors examined photos from Kennedy’s autopsy, leading them to believe that the images differed from their recollections in the trauma room. This discrepancy raised concerns about the possibility of tampering with the President’s body.

Persistence of Second Shooter Theories

Despite the Warren Commission’s conclusion, theories of a second shooter have persisted over the years. Recent revelations from one of Kennedy’s bodyguards, Paul Landis, add further credence to the idea, suggesting the discovery of a bullet on the back of the presidential limousine.

Documentary Preview and Air Date

JFK Assassination: What Happened in the Trauma Room? is scheduled to air on Channel 5 on Sunday at 9 pm. The documentary promises to shed light on the untold stories of the doctors who witnessed the aftermath of one of the most significant events in American history.
