His consistent performances were a significant factor in the team’s automatic promotion from the Motsepe Foundation Championship to the top flight of South African football
Thanks to his impressive play, Matuludi has attracted interest from clubs in the Betway Premiership, including Stellenbosch FC and Kaizer Chiefs.
His solid performances also earned him a call-up to Bafana Bafana for the 2024 COSAFA Cup regional tournament.
Matuludi Speaks on Transfer Rumors
The 25-year-old defender has addressed the transfer rumors that have been circulating on social media. Matuludi confirmed that while he is aware of the speculation, he has yet to receive any official offers from other teams.
Staying Focused
Matuludi emphasized that his primary focus remains with Polokwane City. He noted that despite the rumors, his club has not communicated any interest from other teams.
“I’m aware of the rumors because I have been reading about them on social media,” Matuludi said. “But, no team has tabled an offer for me because my team never told me about any interest from other teams.
The rumors haven’t distracted me because the things you read from the media remain there because my club never mentioned anything about a possible transfer to any team.”

For now, Matuludi is concentrating on his responsibilities with Polokwane City. The team is gearing up for their upcoming MTN8 quarter-final match against Sundowns, scheduled for Sunday, 11 August 2024, at Lucas Moripe Stadium, with kickoff at 15:00.
