There was some concern on Saturday when Deputy President Paul Mashatile felt unwell during the N’wamitwa Day celebrations in Limpopo.
He experienced lightheadedness due to the heat while speaking at the event held at the Valoyi Cultural Village in Tzaneen.
Thankfully, his medical team quickly attended to him.

Following the incident, the presidency swiftly reassured the public with a statement confirming that Deputy President Mashatile received the necessary medical care and was in good health.
On Sunday, his office provided a further update, emphasizing that he was feeling well and resting comfortably at home.

The presidency expressed their gratitude to the Presidential Protection Service and the Presidential Medical Unit for their prompt response.
Deputy President Mashatile also extended his thanks to South Africans for their support and well-wishes.
