…By Joseph Benjamin for TDPel Media. Princess Beatrice graciously stepped in for her sister, Princess Eugenie, during a Royal Family engagement this week.
Accompanied by her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Beatrice attended the Chelsea Flower Show on Monday.
She visited a show garden created by Horatio’s Garden, a charity that designs gardens for individuals with spinal injuries.
Princess Eugenie, who is a patron of the charity, expressed her pride and appreciation for Beatrice’s presence at the event through a heartfelt tribute shared on Instagram.
Princess Eugenie’s Instagram post featured photos of Beatrice and Edoardo at the Chelsea Flower Show, expressing her admiration for the charity and her sister’s visit.
Meanwhile, Sarah Ferguson, Eugenie and Beatrice’s mother, previously hinted at Eugenie’s due date in an interview with Hello!.
She mentioned that the baby is expected to arrive by the end of May, indicating that the birth is imminent.
Although Princess Eugenie did not attend the Chelsea Flower Show, other members of the Royal Family graced the event.
King Charles, Camilla, and the Princess of Wales were among those who visited on Monday.
However, there has been disappointment expressed by a royal insider regarding the lack of media coverage for the King’s engagement.
The insider voiced concerns that the King and Queen’s visit was overshadowed by the surprise appearance of the Princess of Wales.
It is hoped that future engagements involving the King and Queen receive the deserved attention and recognition.
The Chelsea Flower Show serves as a significant event for King Charles, given his love for horticulture, and the Royal Family wishes for their important engagements to receive adequate media coverage.
