…By Dorcas Funmi for TDPel Media. The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has called on Nigerians to endure the current economic hardships in the country.
During the monthly thanksgiving service at the RCCG headquarters in Lagos, Pastor Adeboye urged Nigerians to trust in God and rely on Him for provision in these trying times.
Finding Comfort in God’s All-Sufficiency
Drawing on the theme of the service, “El-Shaddai,” Pastor Adeboye emphasized that despite the challenges facing the nation, Nigerians can find peace and rest if they place their trust in Almighty God.
He explained that the name “El-Shaddai” describes God as a mother who has just given birth to babies, highlighting that no matter the number of babies, the mother will have more than enough milk to nourish them.
Thus, God is portrayed as the “All-Sufficient God” who abundantly provides for those who trust and have confidence in Him.
Leading Righteous Lives for God’s Inexhaustible Provisions
Pastor Adeboye also cautioned that those who desire to enjoy God’s inexhaustible provisions must live righteous, holy, and transparent lives, with nothing to hide.
By emphasizing the importance of righteousness and integrity, he encouraged individuals to align their actions and choices with God’s principles.
A Message of Hope for Nigerians
Adding to Pastor Adeboye’s words of encouragement, Pastor Adebayo Adeyemo, the Pastor in Charge of RCCG, The Throne of Grace, National Headquarters, expressed optimism that those who turn to God will find relief from their pains.
He urged Nigerians to trust God and continually abide in His presence, assuring them that the difficulties they are currently experiencing will soon become a thing of the past.
Pastor Adeyemo also mentioned positive signs from President Tinubu, suggesting a promising start to address the challenges faced by the nation.
