This victory has propelled them to the highly anticipated final of the championship, where they are set to face the Ghana Under-20 women’s team at the Baba Yara Stadium.

In the semi-final clash, the Nigerian Under-20 women’s team swiftly took control of the game, with Adowunmi Omowunmi scoring a goal in the 23rd minute to give her team an early lead.
