Miami Dolphins Star Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa Overcomes Serious Injury Concerns and Aims for Return in Week 8 Against Arizona Cardinals

Exciting news for Miami Dolphins fans!

Tua Tagovailoa is set to hit the practice field again this Wednesday, eyeing a comeback for Week 8 against the Arizona Cardinals.

This marks a hopeful return for the Dolphins’ quarterback after a challenging stretch.

Recent Challenges

The 26-year-old quarterback faced significant hurdles this season, suffering his third official concussion in just two seasons during Week 2 after a collision with Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills.

Despite the serious nature of his injuries, Tagovailoa is reportedly feeling good and ready to get back into action, dispelling fears that his latest setback could have jeopardized his career.

Tagovailoa has dealt with concussion symptoms in several incidents over the past couple of years.

In one notable occurrence during the 2022 season, he staggered after a heavy hit, hitting his head hard against the ground.

Although he was cleared to play, he later suffered another concussion just four days later in a game against the Cincinnati Bengals, which left him unconscious and required him to be transported off the field on a stretcher.

Hidden Injuries

That season also included a concerning moment during a Christmas Day game against the Green Bay Packers, where his concussion went unnoticed at the time.

Dolphins head coach Mike Daniels later revealed that alarms were raised when Tagovailoa couldn’t recall parts of the game while reviewing the footage the next day.

Following this string of injuries, he was shut down for the rest of the season and even considered walking away from the game.

Reflecting on his struggles, Tagovailoa admitted in 2023, “I considered it for a time. Having sat down with my family and my wife, it was hard to think about leaving this game behind.

It’s my health and my body. I truly believe this is what’s best for me and my family. I love the game of football.”

Team Struggles and Future Outlook

As for the Dolphins, they currently sit at 2-3 this season, facing difficulties without their star quarterback.

The team has suffered significant losses to the Seattle Seahawks and the Tennessee Titans in recent weeks.

This weekend, they’ll be up against the Indianapolis Colts, with Skylar Thompson stepping in as quarterback, likely for one last game before Tagovailoa makes his anticipated return.

What’s next for the Dolphins? Fans are eagerly awaiting Tagovailoa’s comeback, hoping to see him back on the field and leading the team.
