LOFRON Resolution Members Push for National Movement to Restore Faith and Reverence in the United States

Carroll, notable for his ties to the only Catholic signer of the Declaration of Independence, also engaged in frequent correspondence with President George Washington.

His dedication to promoting the Catholic Church across the United States was widely recognized.

“We’re just so tremendously honored to have [Burke] read this prayer,” said David Carollo, a member of the LOFRON resolution and executive director of the World Apostolate of Fátima.

Carollo emphasized the prayer’s significance today, expressing concerns about living out faith in a world increasingly dominated by secularism.

Carollo compared today’s secularism to the warnings from Our Lady about the errors of communist Russia, pointing out that the core of communism is atheism, or removing God from the picture.

This shift towards a secular vision, he argued, has replaced a once Catholic foundation in the country and the world.

Cardinal Raymond Burke will bless the LOFRON resolution and recite the Prayer of Consecration of America to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on July 13, 2024, during a “Mary-thon” Mass at the Blue Army Shrine.

Carollo recalled St. John Paul II’s statement from the 1980s that Fátima is more important now than in 1917.

He believes the message of Fátima is even more pertinent today, aligning with the resolution and the Knights of Columbus’ mission to live according to the Gospel and spread the message of Fátima.

Soldiers of Faith

The Knights of Columbus, described as Our Lady’s Blue Army, aim to save souls through prayer and reparation, a sentiment echoed by Sgt. Robert Bartlett.

Bartlett, whose military service dates back to the Battle of Valley Forge, recommitted to his Catholic faith after a near-death experience in Iraq in 2005.

He sees the LOFRON resolution as a means to restore the nation’s reverence for God.

National Ambitions

Members of the LOFRON resolution, like Tim Bradshaw, aim to expand their efforts nationwide by establishing chapters and committees in different states.

Carollo reiterated this vision ahead of the Blue Army Shrine’s “Mary-thon” event, emphasizing the need for a national movement to bring the country back to God.

How to Participate

Those interested can view the “Mary-thon” events via the Blue Army Shrine’s livestream or EWTN’s television coverage on July 13 at 6:30 p.m. ET.
