Lagos Police Declares Nurse as Prime Suspect in Mohbad’s Case
The Lagos State Police Command made a significant revelation during a press briefing in Lagos State regarding the ongoing investigation into the death of Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad.
The police commissioner, Idowu Owohunwa, shared that while they are still awaiting the results of the autopsy conducted on the deceased, the investigation team has made substantial progress in shedding light on the circumstances surrounding the singer’s demise.
Nurse’s Actions Under Scrutiny
According to the findings of the investigation team, the nurse who had administered medications, including an intravenous injection, to Mohbad was found to have exceeded her professional limitations.
This transgression, whether directly or indirectly, contributed to the singer’s death. As a result of these findings, the Lagos State Police Command has officially declared the nurse a prime suspect in the case.
Primeboy’s Response to Police Invitation
In a related development, Primeboy, a close associate of Mohbad, refuted claims made by the Lagos Police Command regarding his failure to honor an invitation related to the singer’s death.
Primeboy had been declared wanted by the police, with a one-million-naira bounty placed on him for not cooperating with the investigation.
However, Primeboy voluntarily turned himself in for questioning less than 24 hours after being declared wanted and has been taken into police custody.
