Grim Murder Conviction
Joshua Jacques, 29, faced the verdict of guilty for the murder of four family members in a shocking knife attack fueled by drugs and alcohol.
The victims included his girlfriend, Samantha Drummonds, aged 27, her mother Tanysha Ofori-Akuffo, aged 45, grandmother Dolet Hill, aged 64, and Ms. Hill’s partner, Denton Burke, aged 58.
Tragic Scene Uncovered
Police were summoned to Ms. Hill’s home on Delaford Road in Bermondsey, South London, where they discovered the devastating aftermath of the attack.
They found Mr. Burke’s body at the foot of the stairs and the three women in the kitchen, marking a distressing and traumatic scene.
Denial Amid Guilty Plea
Jacques, residing in Minard Road, Lewisham, South-East London, had admitted to the manslaughter of the victims but consistently denied the charge of murder in this case.
Despite his pleas, the court found him guilty of the murders of the four family members.
