During the first quarter of the Jacksonville Jaguars’ 31-24 win over the New Orleans Saints, wide receiver and punt returner Jamal Agnew was involved in a bizarre collision with his own teammate.
As Agnew attempted to field a punt, he called for a fair catch, but gunner Tevaughn Campbell was pushed into him by a Saints defender.
The collision resulted in a fumble, which was recovered by the Saints. Agnew was shaken up by the hit and was evaluated for a concussion, but he was eventually cleared to return to the game.
Agnew went on to have a decent performance, finishing with four receptions for 36 yards and a key block on Christian Kirk’s game-winning touchdown.
