Plans are also in motion to build a pier on the River Thames, making the stadium accessible by boat.
While there were initial concerns about how this might affect the annual Boat Race, Mackintosh has assured fans that the club is working closely with the event organizers to ensure there are no conflicts.

The Riverside Stand promises to offer a range of high-end amenities for those willing to pay for the experience.
Among the highlights are two Michelin-starred restaurants, a rooftop swimming pool, and a hospitality area that will be one of the most exclusive in English football.
The stand’s top three floors, known as The Sky Deck, will feature various food and drink pop-ups and stunning views of London.
For those seeking a more immersive football experience, “The Dugout” will allow fans to sit directly behind the coaches, with access to a bar and advanced audio-visual technology.
