Former NFL Kicker Jay Feely Advocates for Trump’s Return to Office, Emphasizing Economic and Safety Issues That Matter to Arizona Voters

In a recent conversation, former NFL kicker and current CBS analyst Jay Feely shared his views on Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

Feely believes that when you take a step back and evaluate Trump’s time in office objectively, especially the years leading up to COVID, it becomes clear that he outperformed the Biden administration on key issues that matter to everyday Americans.

Comparing Administrations

Feely highlighted important areas such as the economy, safety, housing, and border control.

“When you look at these factors, Trump did a better job than Biden and Harris,” he asserted.

His stance isn’t influenced by any personal connection, despite having golfed with Trump in 2020.

Instead, he emphasizes that Trump’s policies resonate more with voters than those of the current administration.

Winning Back Arizona

Feely is particularly focused on Arizona, a state he’s called home since his NFL days.

He pointed out that Trump lost Arizona to Biden by a narrow margin of just over 10,000 votes in 2020, despite the fact that Republicans had dominated the state in previous elections.

He believes that if registered Republicans in Arizona make their voices heard in the upcoming election, Trump could reclaim the state.

“Over 200,000 registered Republicans in Arizona didn’t vote last time,” Feely noted. “If just half of them show up this time, Trump can win Arizona.”

The Call to Action

He urges fellow Republicans to recommit to voting, especially in key swing states.

“The gap was smaller in 2020, and it’s essential that registered Republicans get out there and vote for Trump,” Feely stressed.

He feels the stakes have never been higher, with the two major parties increasingly polarized.

Advocating for Civil Discourse

Beyond political strategy, Feely also called for a more respectful dialogue around politics.

He hopes for a future where people can discuss their views without fear of backlash or cancellation.

“Whether you’re liberal or conservative, everyone should be able to express their beliefs openly,” he remarked.

“We need to get back to that kind of conversation.”

Feely’s insights reflect a mix of sports, politics, and a desire for constructive dialogue in a divided country.
