Kristin Davis, once at the center of New York City’s most notorious prostitution scandal, has taken on a new and unexpected role: supporting Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s presidential campaign.
Davis, who was famously linked to the 2008 downfall of former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, is now working as a political public relations specialist.
She’s doing this for a political action committee (PAC) that backs the third-party candidate.
In a recent interview with Radar Online, Davis described herself as the “head advisor” of the PAC supporting Kennedy.
Her entry into Kennedy’s camp comes at a time when the candidate himself is facing a series of controversies, including a strange admission that he once left a bear carcass in Central Park back in 2014.
Davis, working for Kennedy’s Common Sense PAC, shared that her decision to join was “driven by a deep belief in [Kennedy’s] vision and potential as a candidate.”
Despite the shadow of her past, including multiple prison stints, she emphasized that she’s turned over a new leaf and is fully committed to Kennedy’s cause.
Kristin Davis’s history is colorful, to say the least.
Her most infamous moment came in 2008 when she served four months at Rikers Island for promoting prostitution, a scandal that directly implicated Governor Spitzer.
Then, in 2014, she was sentenced to two years in jail for selling prescription pills to a government informant.
However, Davis insists that her past should not overshadow her intelligence or the work she’s doing now.
She’s worked on three presidential campaigns, including those of notable libertarian and right-wing figures, and even did some work for former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
A Voice for Kennedy Amid Controversy
Radar Online reported that Davis reached out to them following a Vanity Fair article that accused RFK Jr. of sexually assaulting his children’s babysitter in 1998 and included bizarre allegations about him eating a barbecued dog in Korea.
In response to the media attention surrounding her involvement in the PAC, Davis took to Instagram to reaffirm her support for Kennedy.
She called for a unified front, suggesting that if Trump truly wants to win the election and bring about real change, he should join forces with Kennedy, possibly even appointing him as the head of the Department of Health and Human Services.
Davis passionately argued that Kennedy, with his focus on combating Big Pharma and improving children’s health, is in the race to win it.
The PAC’s Perspective
Following the news of Davis’s role in the Common Sense PAC, Nate Porter, the head of the committee, confirmed that Davis has been a top political advisor.
He praised her political and public relations skills, noting that her past scandals actually lend a unique perspective to Kennedy’s campaign.
According to Porter, Davis’s experience in the media spotlight has given her a valuable foresight in the political arena.
Her past, rather than being a hindrance, has become an asset in navigating the often murky waters of political campaigns.
