…By Joseph Benjamin for TDPel Media. Former Big Brother Naija contestant, Tokunbo Idowu, widely known as Tboss, has opened up about the challenges she faces as a single mother.
Tboss, who gave birth to her baby in 2019 but chose not to disclose the identity of the father, recently spoke out while responding to a report about Kim Kardashian.
In a podcast episode of ‘On Purpose’ with Jay Shetty, Kim Kardashian discussed the difficulties of being a single parent and raising her four children alone.
The reality TV star, who was previously married to American rapper Kanye West, emphasized that parenting can be a demanding journey due to the diverse moods, personalities, and conflicts that children possess.
Despite the challenges, Kim expressed that parenting is also one of the most fulfilling roles in the world.
Tboss, in reaction to Kim’s story, shared it on her Instagram story, showing support for Kim’s perspective on single parenting.
Tboss related to the experiences shared by Kim and expressed her own struggles by stating, “Normal levels. This has been me for the past two weeks.”
“Don’t Label Women as Gold Diggers if You’re Not Wealthy”
Meanwhile, Tboss criticized financially unstable men who label women as gold diggers.
Through her Instastory, the fair-skinned celebrity advised men who engage in such behavior to work hard and accumulate wealth before making assumptions about women seeking financial security.
Tboss emphasized, “Before you come out and claim that a woman is a gold digger, please make sure that you even have the gold for anyone to dig for, to begin with.”
Furthermore, she stated that individuals who mock women and assign them the label of gold diggers are lacking substance, relying solely on their “ridiculous pout” and beauty filters used to alter their pictures on social media.
Tboss highlighted that real men do not engage in such behavior and do not resort to derogatory labels for women.
