This victory marks a significant moment for the team and for Leclerc, who secured his first win on American soil.

Lando Norris’s Disappointment

Despite a strong performance that initially placed Lando Norris in third, the McLaren driver faced a five-second penalty for gaining an unfair advantage by leaving the track during the race.

This penalty dropped him to fourth place, behind Max Verstappen, who finished third.

With this outcome, Verstappen has increased his lead in the drivers’ championship over Norris to 57 points as the season heads into its final stretch of five races.

Race Highlights and Results

Leclerc finished the race 8.562 seconds ahead of Sainz, while Verstappen trailed by 19.412 seconds.

Norris’s fourth place was followed by his teammate Oscar Piastri and George Russell from Mercedes, who climbed from the pit lane to finish sixth.

Sergio Perez took seventh in the second Red Bull, with Nico Hulkenberg, Liam Lawson, and Franco Colapinto rounding out the top ten.

This win was especially significant for Leclerc, marking his third victory of the season and the eighth of his career.

For Ferrari, it was their first one-two finish in the U.S. since 2006.
