Dave Portnoy, the face behind Barstool Sports, found himself in the spotlight again as rumors swirled about his ex-girlfriend, Silvana Mojica, staying at his Hamptons mansion.
Addressing the speculation on the BFFs podcast, Portnoy acknowledged the attention but seemed unfazed by the scrutiny.
During the podcast episode, Portnoy bluntly confirmed, “Silvana is at my Montauk house,” responding to fans who appeared “really upset” by the news.
He dismissed claims circulating online, emphasizing, “I saw something that was the biggest lie ever written about her… that she’s trying to get back together… it’s 100% lies.”
Portnoy and Mojica parted ways last November after a three-year relationship.
Explaining the current situation, Portnoy shared, “She was going to the Hamptons, to Montauk, which seemingly every influencer now does.”
He clarified that he’s currently in Nantucket and allowed Mojica to stay in his empty house upon her request.

While noting they aren’t in constant communication, Portnoy expressed a casual approach to their arrangement, saying, “I won’t say we’re like best friends, we don’t talk all the time but yeah it’s an empty house, I’m glad to have her use it.”
Mojica playfully reposted a podcast clip on Instagram, teasing her critics with the caption, “My haters are gonna have a mental breakdown today.”

Reflecting on their breakup in late 2023, Portnoy had previously discussed their split on the same podcast, citing differences in what they both wanted.
