Cedric Kaze is no stranger to Kaizer Chiefs’ head coach, Nasreddine Nabi.
The two previously worked together at Young Africans in Tanzania, where they enjoyed tremendous success, capturing six trophies in just two seasons.
Kaze’s extensive experience and deep tactical knowledge made him an ideal candidate to support Nabi’s ambitious plans for the team.
The club’s announcement highlighted that Kaze, who hails from Burundi, has joined the Chiefs to enhance the team’s performance this season.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Science, a CAF A Licence, and a German Football Federation A Licence, he has built a reputation for excellence in football.
Kaze’s career started in Burundi, where he worked with several national teams, eventually moving to Canada to work in youth football, including a stint at the FC Barcelona Academy.
His coaching journey also spans head coach roles in Burundi, Rwanda, and Tanzania, where he served as a technical director, further cementing his credentials as a versatile and experienced football strategist.
