British YouTuber and rapper Yung Filly has been taken into custody due to serious allegations of sexual assault.
The artist, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, was arrested by sex assault detectives in Brisbane on a Tuesday and subsequently extradited to Perth the following day.
Allegations and Arrest Details
Yung Filly, 29, is accused of assaulting a woman in her twenties at a hotel in Perth on September 28, following a performance at Bar1 Nightclub in Hillarys, located in the northern part of Perth.
Just two days before his arrest, he had entertained fans at the Havana Nightclub on the Gold Coast.
The charges against him are quite severe, including four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault, and one count of applying pressure to another person’s neck, hindering their normal breathing or circulation.
He is set to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday.

Since then, he has hosted various shows on the BBC, such as “Hot Property” and “Yung Filly’s Celeb Lock-In,” and even made an appearance on Channel 4’s “The Great Celebrity Bake Off.”

In addition to his music and television work, Yung Filly has teamed up with several fashion brands, including recent partnerships with ASOS and Perplex.
