Amber Rose Reveals How Wiz Khalifa Encouraged Her to Publicly Support Donald Trump During Exclusive Interview in Washington, D.C.

Amber Rose, the model and actress known for her unexpected role at the Republican National Convention, recently opened up about her surprising support for Donald Trump.

In a forthcoming episode of Candace Owens’ YouTube show, Rose revealed the surprising influence behind her decision to publicly endorse Trump.

In an interview set to air on Friday, Rose shared that her ex-husband, rapper Wiz Khalifa, was the one who encouraged her to express her support for Trump.

She first made her stance clear in May with a social media post featuring a photo of herself with Trump and Melania, captioned “Trump 2024.”

Rose recounted, “My ex-husband actually told me to do it, Wiz.”

Owens, who is known for her conservative views, questioned Rose about what motivated her to align with the MAGA movement, noting that her decision became a notable topic online.

Overcoming Initial Doubts

Rose admitted that she initially had doubts about the reaction she would receive.

She recalled her apprehension as she entered the Milwaukee convention, observing a crowd predominantly made up of “a lot of white men in suits.” This, she acknowledged, could be intimidating for someone from a more diverse or left-leaning background.

Writing Her Own Speech with Trump’s Team

Rose’s enthusiasm for the experience was evident as she revealed that a speechwriter from Trump’s team helped craft her convention address.

She specified her desire to focus on topics like the economy and inflation rather than more contentious issues such as immigration.

“I wrote my speech with one of the writers who works for Trump,” Rose explained. “I told them everything that I wanted to talk about… and that’s what everyone saw at the RNC.”

A Personal Journey to Trump Support

During her speech, Rose addressed her father’s shift to supporting Trump, despite her initial belief that Trump was racist—a notion her father disputed.

“To prove my father wrong, I did my research and looked into all things Donald Trump,” she said. She realized that Trump and his supporters embraced people regardless of their race or sexuality, which made her feel a sense of belonging.

From Uncertainty to Overwhelming Response

Rose was initially skeptical about her speech’s impact. “I was just like there’s so many speakers going up, no one knows me in the political world,” she shared.

Yet, her address garnered significant attention. “Right after that speech, boy, I must have taken like 3,000 pictures in four days,” she laughed, reflecting on how her life changed dramatically.

The rapper, still adjusting to her newfound political fame, humbly noted, “I’m just a girl from Philly.”
