Airlink Expands Flight Frequencies to Mbombela and Bloemfontein, Providing More Travel Options for Passengers

According to Travel News, the additional flights will be available on the Cape Town to Mbombela route, the Johannesburg to Mbombela route, and the Johannesburg to Bloemfontein route.

Enhanced Connectivity: Cape Town to Mbombela and Johannesburg to Mbombela

Airlink will now operate a twice-daily return service between Cape Town and Mbombela, totaling six times a week.

Moreover, the new flights connecting Johannesburg and Mbombela will provide travelers with the flexibility of choosing from up to eight return flights per day.

Improved Accessibility: Johannesburg to Bloemfontein

Similarly, the extra flight between Johannesburg and Bloemfontein will increase the daily number of flights during the week from three to four.

Over weekends, there will be an increase from two to three flights per day.

Enhanced Convenience and Flexibility for Customers

Rodger Foster, CEO and Managing Director of Airlink, emphasizes that by expanding the flight schedule on these routes, the airline aims to offer customers more convenient choices and connections.

This increased flexibility will benefit travelers in planning their trips.

The additional flights are scheduled to commence on August 7, 2023, and will be operated using Embraer Regional Jets.

New Route: Mbombela to Vic Falls

In other news, Airlink has announced the launch of a new route that will connect Mbombela and Kruger National Park to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.

This route will complement Airlink’s existing service between Mbombela’s Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) and Livingstone on the Zambian side of the famous waterfall.

The flights on this new route are scheduled to begin on November 28 later this year.

For those traveling from Cape Town, Emirates now provides an increased number of flights, offering passengers more travel options.
