…By Dorcas Funmi for TDPel Media. Nollywood actress Sarah Martins recently issued a warning to her fans, urging them to be cautious of fraudulent pastors.
She recounted a bizarre incident involving a renowned prophetess based in Port Harcourt.
Sarah, in a lengthy Instagram post, revealed that she was four months pregnant when her sister took her to a church where the prophetess, widely known as ‘Mummy B,’ was conducting a prayer session.
To Sarah’s surprise, the prophetess sent her bodyguards to bring her up to the pulpit during the prayer session.
However, the prophetess proceeded to deliver fake prophecies about Sarah’s future, claiming that she would never get married or have children due to a supposed curse from her grandmother.
Contrary to the prophetess’s claims, Sarah was happily married, pregnant, and living a content life with her husband at that time.
Realizing that the prophetess was addressing her sister, someone informed Sarah’s sister about the situation.
Without hesitation, her sister promptly rushed to the stage and whisked her away, publicly denouncing Mummy B as a fake prophet and a fraud.
Sarah shared the incident, stating, “I was four months pregnant when my elder sister took me to a church crusade where the ‘then almighty’ Mummy B of Port Harcourt was ministering.
Brothers and sisters, this woman sent her guards to bring me up on stage while my sister was deeply engrossed in prayer.
Next thing I knew, she started questioning me about who sent me, why I existed in my body, and even the water I emerged from.
Then, she claimed that my grandma had deposited my menstrual pad in an evil coven 15 years ago, which was the reason for my singleness and my inability to bear children.”
At the time, Sarah was only 21 years old, happily married, and expecting a child.
Her sister was initially unaware that the prophetess was talking about Sarah until someone alerted her.
Outraged, her sister rushed to the stage and rescued her, exposing Mummy B as a fraud.
Sarah continued, “My sister had to clarify to the people that I was married and that 15 years ago, I was only six years old.
That incident marked the day my sister decided to stop attending crusades.
When my husband heard about it, he immediately drove to the venue and escorted us away.
Some churches are scams.
It’s important to reconnect with your roots and find inner peace.”
She concluded her post by sharing another incident from two years ago when she sought prayers from a pastor but instead received a sermon on love, with the pastor begging her for a chance.
This encounter further emphasized her belief in the existence of fake pastors.
In conclusion, Sarah Martins, a popular Nollywood actress, urged her followers to be cautious and discerning when encountering pastors, advising them to find solace in their personal beliefs and spirituality.
