Upon assuming office, Governor Dare discovered that there were no funds available in the state treasury.
Furthermore, he inherited significant debts and liabilities totaling billions of naira.
A Plea for Patience and Support
Governor Dare, in light of the state’s financial predicament, is calling upon the people of Zamfara to understand the challenges at hand.
He requests their patience, full support, and cooperation during this difficult period.
Governor Dare had campaigned on a promise of fostering rapid development in the state, particularly in areas such as security, education, job opportunities, health, and agriculture.
He reassures the public that he is dedicated to rescuing Zamfara State and elevating it to new heights.
Inauguration Absences
During the governor’s swearing-in ceremony, it was observed that the former governor, Bello Matawalle, and his deputy, Hassan Nasiha, were absent.
It is worth noting that Matawalle had reportedly been away from the state since losing his re-election bid.
