“This is a historic moment for Magesi FC,” he stated during an interview with Thabiso Mosia on Radio 2000.
“It was our first-ever clash against a powerhouse like Orlando Pirates, so coming away with a win is incredibly special for the club.
This victory will boost our confidence as we head into upcoming matches.”

Larsen candidly acknowledged the difference in levels between his team and established clubs like Sundowns and Pirates.
“We’re aware that we still have a lot of work to do to improve as a team and football club,” he admitted.

“We recognized our limitations and tailored our game plan accordingly,” he explained.
“We knew we had to remain resolute, stay compact, and rely on counter-attacks. Although we expected to have only 35 to 40 percent of the ball, it was crucial to maximize our possession.”

When asked if he anticipated his team would score three goals against such a formidable opponent, Larsen confidently replied, “Yes, I did.
Some may think I’m crazy for believing that, but I’ve had a similar experience at Celtic against Sundowns.
Every time we pressed forward, we posed a threat, and we could have easily netted four or five goals.”
