LV believes that the 29-year-old needs to “take responsibility for his own actions” and has expressed that he will be praying for him during this challenging time.

According to reports, the alleged incident occurred on September 28, and Barrientos has been ordered to remain in Australia until a further hearing in December.

He emphasized that Barrientos is an adult who must face the consequences of his actions.
LV humorously mentioned the harsh realities of Australian prison life, saying, “bare snakes and spiders and s***,” and voiced concerns for Barrientos’s family, hoping that the situation wouldn’t negatively impact them.

Depetro highlighted the serious nature of the allegations, suggesting that the evidence, including CCTV footage and photographs, painted a troubling picture that went beyond what could be considered consensual.
His statements raised concerns about the power dynamics involved in the situation.
In his defense, Barrientos’s attorney, Seamus Rafferty, argued that if bail was denied, his client could face up to two years in a notoriously tough prison.
He also contended that a ban on Barrientos’s online presence was unrealistic in today’s digital age.
Ultimately, Barrientos was granted bail under strict conditions, which include not contacting the victim, remaining in Western Australia, and reporting daily to police.
He must also post a personal cash surety of £52,000.
