He remarked, “Liz Cheney lost for Congress; she was terrible,” further denouncing her as someone who merely wants to “shoot missiles at people.”
Trump’s skepticism extended to predicting a negative outcome for both women, stating, “I think frankly, if Kamala… I think they hurt each other! I think they’re so bad, both of them,” unable to hide his amusement.
Cheney’s Personal Vote of Confidence for Harris
Emphasizing her decision to back Harris in the upcoming election, Cheney declared, “I tell you, I have never voted for a Democrat, but this year, I am proudly casting my vote for Vice President Kamala Harris.”

She recounted how Trump’s response to a threat against then-Vice President Mike Pence was a nonchalant “So what?”

She elaborated that, during the Capitol attack, Trump received notifications about violence but chose to ignore them, stating, “He continued to watch the attack on television and still refused to tell the mob to leave the Capitol.”
Cheney emphasized, “That is depravity, and we must never become numb to it.”
A Contrast in Compassion
Cheney contrasted the current state of the Republican Party with her father’s era, recalling when her father, Dick Cheney, and George W. Bush considered themselves “compassionate conservatives.”
