Legendary Britpop Band Oasis Confirms Their First North American Tour in Over a Decade with Five Highly Anticipated Stadium Shows Set to Kick Off in 2025

In an exciting development for fans, Oasis is gearing up for a massive reunion tour in 2025, marking their return to the stage after more than a decade.

The legendary Britpop band, famously fronted by the feuding brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, will perform five stadium shows across North America.

This marks a significant milestone for the band, as it’s their first tour since 2009.

The good news for fans? Tickets will not be subject to dynamic pricing this time around.

Expanded Tour Dates and Locations

Originally planned for the UK and Ireland, the tour has now expanded to include the United States and Canada.

The new concert dates include stops in Toronto on August 24, Chicago on August 28, New Jersey on August 31, Los Angeles on September 6, and Mexico City on September 12.

Oasis confirmed these exciting plans with a post on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “America is coming.

You have one last chance to prove that you loved us all along.”

Ticket Sales and Pre-Sale Information

Fans looking to secure tickets will have a couple of opportunities.

Pre-sale tickets will go on sale at 12:00 PM EST on October 3, with general sales starting the following day, October 4.

It’s been revealed that registered applicants will be randomly selected to access the ticket sale through a ballot system, which will include questions about the band to ensure serious fans get priority.

Avoiding Past Ticketing Chaos

Oasis faced significant backlash during their previous ticket sales in the UK and Ireland due to overwhelming demand.

Many fans encountered frustrating online experiences, spending hours in virtual queues only to be met with skyrocketing prices caused by a dynamic pricing system.

However, in response to the outcry, Oasis has assured fans that the North American ticket sales will not follow the same chaotic model.

In a recent statement, they clarified, “Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing model will not be applied to the forthcoming sale of tickets to Oasis concerts in North America.”

They acknowledged the difficulties experienced during the UK sales and expressed hope that this decision will lead to a smoother experience for their fans across the pond.

The Build-Up to the Announcement

The band stirred anticipation prior to the announcement by sharing images of giant billboards featuring the Gallagher brothers, which teased the upcoming reveal with the tagline, “be careful what you wish for.”

The excitement continued to build as fans eagerly awaited further details, with the announcement clocking in at 8 AM ET on the designated day.

Commemorating a Milestone Anniversary

This year is particularly special as it marks 30 years since the release of Oasis’s iconic debut album, Definitely Maybe, which recently re-entered the UK charts thanks to a deluxe edition celebrating its anniversary.

During their prime in the 2000s, the band also released two live albums: Familiar to Millions and Knebworth 1996, both of which showcased their electrifying performances and solidified their status as rock legends.

As the countdown to the tour begins, fans are left wondering what else Oasis has in store for their long-awaited reunion.
