Courtroom proceedings took a disturbing turn when 17-year-old Christian Martinez was spotted blowing kisses as he faced serious charges for the fatal shooting of his ex-girlfriend’s stepfather.

The incident occurred on August 10 in Houston, where Martinez is accused of taking the life of 37-year-old Osvaldo Casas.

The Tragic Incident

On that fateful day, investigators discovered Casas outside his home with multiple gunshot wounds, where he was pronounced dead in the arms of his pregnant wife.

According to reports, Judith Molina, Casas’ wife, noted that they were on high alert after receiving a neighbor’s call about a suspicious vehicle parked nearby, particularly since their car had been vandalized the previous night.

The Accusations

As the investigation unfolded, authorities revealed that Martinez had been stalking Casas’ 16-year-old stepdaughter.

It appears that Casas confronted Martinez when he allegedly shot him.

During a prior court appearance, a judge explained that the defendant had briefly dated the young girl, but their relationship ended after he reportedly assaulted and restrained her against her will.

Despite being blocked by her, Martinez continued to reach out to her, even going so far as to post threats on social media, including a chilling photo of himself with a gun.

A Mother’s Heartache

Molina, who gave birth to her son less than two weeks after the tragedy, firmly stated that her daughter and Martinez had never actually dated.

She expressed her anger and grief, saying, “He was just mad that she didn’t want to date him.”

Molina voiced her desire for justice, hoping Martinez receives a life sentence for his actions, emphasizing that he took a life and should spend his own life in prison.

In an emotional tribute, she remembered Casas as a man full of love and kindness who was always ready to help others.

She launched an online fundraiser to support her family, revealing that Casas was tragically killed while trying to protect them.

As of Tuesday, the GoFundMe campaign has raised over $28,500, which will help with childcare for her newborn and possibly assist in relocating due to harassment from friends of Martinez.
