Raven Keiara is the inspiration behind the “Show Up and Step Up” initiative which stems from her own experience with volunteerism and speaking up for important causes. Raven Keiara is an actress and activist. The youth crusader is making a difference and will not be silenced in her mission to change the world.
Beyond her acting success, Raven Keiara has become a powerful voice. The honorable teen has amassed more than 500 documented hours of community service work and has been recognized by the United States government for her achievements.
A world-class rising powerhouse, Raven Keiara has sought to increase knowledge about different cultures and complexities facing communities in an effort to enhance their living conditions. Not long ago the NYU alum toured Europe to study international relations, culture and visual arts and how they impact the global system.
At 17 years old, Raven Keiara supports, organizes, and mobilizes other youth to support advocacy and is joining forces with community alliances to bring awareness to the pivotal issues Gen Z are facing in the world today.
“I’ve always been an activist, but I haven’t always had the same cause,” Raven Keiara said.
For her entire life, Raven Keiara has been actively involved in countless community causes, speaking out when necessary, encouraging volunteerism, and has always been dedicated to making the world a better place.
“I’ve always witnessed those around me giving back to the community from civic organizations to government involvement, from pushes for voter registration and initiatives to feed the homeless, to trash pickup and addressing food insecurity. Much of what I do is from learning how to be a champion of change from my family. It’s passed down and I intend to make it my legacy,” Raven Keiara said.
The teen is actively spreading awareness for the issues that she is working to solve with diversity and inclusion and a commitment to youth empowerment landing at the top of the list.
Earlier this summer, two important milestones happened. Raven Keiara graduated from high school and that same month she was honored by her city government and Senator for her activism work.
As a vociferous supporter and leader of diversity and inclusion, the teen activist lobbied to the city of Manhattan Beach, California, to officially recognize Juneteenth, which they did in an inaugural celebration in June 2024.
“Anybody who’s lucky enough to have a platform should feel a responsibility to society to use it to help others,” Raven Keiara said.
The innovative change-maker frequently works together with others to provide necessary resources to community partners and initiates projects where solutions are being brought to the forefront each day.
The talented teen utilizes her unique skills to contribute to the arts and entertainment. As a former child actress who began starring in Disney productions at five years old, she is filled with passionate intent. The innovative teen helped found the media company PopSource TV at just eight years old.
The prominent lady of distinction has audiences around the world tuned in lately to her recent performance in the “Show Me” video opposite Raven’s Home star Issac Ryan Brown.
Through her entertainment background, Raven Keiara has been able to leverage both her platform and resources to bring attention to a wide array of international humanitarian issues.
Whether it is promoting or participating in the arts, culture and entertainment, or hitting the pavement for a rally or protest she has established herself as a powerful vessel with the potential to impact society.
Raven Keiara is all about taking part in activities that bring about social change. Her efforts advocating for human rights, equality and democracy as well as her ability to engage a global audience in the arts and culture has made her a force to be reckoned with
